THE OXFORD APARTMENTS

The Oxford Apartments, located on the banks of Christchurch’s Avon River (Ōtākaro), is an iconic 12-level structure that offers commanding views over Christchurch City. The Oxford houses 14 luxury apartments that embody high-end craftsmanship and materials.

Dominion Constructors’ South Island team is engaged to seismically strengthen and redevelop the structure and complete the fitout of the 14 apartments.

The seismic upgrade of the building will be carried out using Tectonus products, bringing it to a minimum of 100% New Building Standard (NBS) and futureproofing it against earthquakes. The installation of Tectonus products is a revolutionary move – it is the first time these products have been retrofitted into an existing building.

This innovative technology ensures that the Oxford Apartments is structurally sound and offers a secure and comfortable living environment for its residents.
