MAINFREIGHT HOBSONVILLE

The Mainfreight Hobsonville Terminal is a cutting-edge transport facility designed to distribute goods and products efficiently and effectively within Auckland and the surrounding region.

The terminal’s state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure ensure its smooth operation while incorporating environmentally friendly practices for sustainability. Its strategic location in the rapidly expanding Hobsonville area provides easy access to key transportation routes and population centres, making it an ideal hub for distribution of goods.

Dominion Constructors was the nominated design and build contractor for the Mainfreight Hobsonville Terminal at 37 Westpoint Drive in Auckland, New Zealand. The project duration spanned 18 months.

The project comprised a 16,500 m2 transport terminal, a two-storey office spanning 1300 m2, and boasts 3700 cubic metres of concrete foundations and slabs. The two-storey office area included sleeping pods, office floor space, showers, toilets, lockers, meeting rooms, and a 50-seated lunchroom/cafeteria with a fully fitted-out commercial kitchen.
