139 Greys Ave is a redevelopment of the current Auckland site to make way for 276 new apartments – the first large-scale single-site housing redevelopment in New Zealand on a sloping site located in Auckland’s inner city.

Key partner ICON has engaged Dominion Structures to build the structure for their client Kāinga Ora.

Dominion Structures’ scope includes constructing the concrete structure and installing precast panels for three separate apartment buildings. These buildings are connected by a shared basement and ground level, with three apartment towers ranging from 9 to 13 storeys. The development’s ground floor and level 1 will feature communal areas and retail spaces, while the basement will serve as the car park.

Dominion Structures’ work encompasses a range of tasks, including completing the in-ground concrete works, installing precast shear wall panels and cladding panels, and flooring, balconies, and stairs. Dominion is also responsible for supplying, pumping, and placing concrete, and dry-packing and grouting of structural panels.
